Wyoming Based Vehicle Manufacturers

Wyoming based vehicle manufacturers must obtain a license from WYDOT.

• A license is required if you manufacture, construct or assemble new and unused vehicles, their major component parts, or both.
  
• A Wyoming-based Vehicle Manufacturer License allows you to sell the vehicles that you manufacture in Wyoming. 
  
• If a Wyoming-based vehicle manufacturer buys, sells, or exchanges three or more vehicles manufactured by another company, he must also obtain a Wyoming Vehicle Dealer License.
