New Plates Now Available

The new Radio Amateur specialty plate design is available now for both renewals and new applicants. 

Renewals: WYDOT will be sending out renewal letters on a quarterly basis depending on when your current specialty plate expires. Your letter will have instructions on how to renew.  

New applicants can use the application below:

Residents licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to engage in private and experimental two-way radio operation and holding bona fide novice class licenses or higher may apply to WYDOT for radio amateur plates for the following vehicles they own:

• 1 passenger car

• 1 pickup
