Research Advisory Committee
WYDOT RESEARCH ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Pursuant to Policy 4.1 in the Basic & Operation Policy Manual the Research Advisory Committee is responsibly for "[r]eviewing, evaluating, and prioritizing all RD&T proposals and problem statements. This evaluation assists the RAC in determining whether a proposal has sufficient merit to warrant further study. If waranted and funding is available, the RAC submits the research proposals for assistant chief engineer of engineering and planning and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) approval.”
