The Photogrammetry group creates and maintains terrain and mapping files compiled from aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR point clouds, and field surveyed data for use in all phases of the roadway design process.
The Surveys group uses GPS and digital leveling equipment to establish horizontal and vertical coordinates for project control monuments. This group also uses GPS equipment, total stations, UAV's, and LIDAR scanners to collect field survey data for inclusion in the project mapping.
